Male Pattern Baldness
in simple words (and animation)
In this demo I’ll explain themost
common cause of hair
loss in men - "common baldness",
or Male Pattern Baldness .
They say 95% of hair loss in men is due to a
hormonal problem known as male pattern baldness
(MPB).
Meet Tessi!
He is a testosterone hormone.
Tessi has receptor sites,
which allow an enzyme to attach itself to
him.
That enzyme is 5 alpha reductase.
When this attaches itself to Tessi, the
mix turns into DHT (Dihydrotestosterone),
which is good for building strength and
other male attributes--but it plays the
role of the bad guy when it comes to MPB.
DHT attaches itself to the
keratin cells’ receptors.
Since keratin cells make
up hair follicles, DHT has a direct influence
on hair follicles--and by looking in the
mirror, you can see that it’s not
a good influence. DHT shortens the growing
stage of the follicle, and reduces blood
supply to it. It’s also responsible
for more bad stuff, which I don’t
really understand.
The number of these receptors
varies according to the location on the
scalp. The scalp surface with thinning hair
or balding has keratin cells with a greater
number of receptors.
So, what mpb suffers need,
is a DHT fighter.
Don't
even think of buying if you have a
large bald spot!

There are different ways to
stop DHT harming your hair
Procerin
for Men Procerin’s
active ingredients, supposed to prevent
the chemical reaction that changes testosterone
into DHT, and reduce levels of DHT present
in the scalp.
